 Kelowna, BC (January 12, 2010) – Celebrating RE/MAX of Western Canada’s 30^th Anniversary, Elton Ash, Regional Executive Vice President, is proud to announce that the Western Canadian Annual Conference, “The Winning Edge,” will be held in the heart of Alberta - Edmonton.  Hundreds of RE/MAX associates from across Western Canada are expected to participate in the three-day event on February 11-13, 2010 at the newly expanded Shaw Conference Centre. 

RE/MAX associates will have the opportunity to re-connect with colleagues, make new acquaintances and share information with their peers, while strengthening those relationships.  Conference highlights include winning edge speakers Cary Mullen, Brad Hanks, and Victoria Labalme touching on everything from how to make social networking work for you to how to create balance in your life.  In addition to keynote speakers, “The Winning Edge” also features presentations from industry experts, an exhibitor’s showcase, and an entertaining, “Go for the Gold” fun night including Canadian A, a band celebrating the musical styles and influences of Canada’s top entertainers with explosive energy surely to have everyone moving. 

Starting the day off right, Saturday attendees are invited to the Children’s Miracle Network Breakfast of Champions where they will all share in the excitement of raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network by biding on exclusive auction items.  All money raised goes to the Children’s Miracle Network, an organization that helps sick kids by providing funds to local children’s hospitals and foundations.

On Saturday, February 13, 2010, RE/MAX of Western Canada will play host the 27^th Annual Conference Gala Night.  The evening starts with an awards presentation to congratulate associates on outstanding accomplishments in 2009 followed by a gala reception and dinner complete with award winning cuisine, finishing with an evening of dancing.
